System Requirments for Memory-Map Software
On your Mobile Device or Smartphone
iPhone / iPad Requires iOS 3.1.2 or later (including iPod touch). Integrated GPS is required for positional navigation features
Windows Mobile Requires 2003 through 6.5. windows Phone 7 is not (yet) supported
Android Requires 2.2 and above and an ARM architecture processor - due for release in the fall 2011
On your Windows PC
Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
Hardware: Pentium CPU or better, 32MB RAM, at least 800x600 display. The 3D feature requires an accelerated graphics card which is standard on most XP, Vista and Windows 7 machines.
Media: For map products supplied on DVD, you also need a DVD drive. If your Net Book does not have a DVD drive, you still need access to one so you can transfer the data to a portable memory stick/drive.
Storage: Between 5-10GB of free disk space is recommended for Topographic mapping
or 1-2GB for Nautical charts.
On your Mac
Memory-Map is not designed to run on Mac operating systems
However, we can say that we have heard from many happy Mac users who are very pleased with Memory-Map and are enjoying full functionality on their Mac X system. Most of them are using VMWare Fusion or Parallels to facilitate this.
